Nate Dudley, aka Nate

. I teach Economics, U.S History, and Spanish at Satellite and I coach the softball team, among other things. I grew up in St. Louis and Chicago, and have lived in New York since 1988. I have also lived in several countries in Latin America, including Brazil. I went to Yale University (class of 1982), there I majored in Latin American and U.S. History. I also attended the University of Texas at Austin for a Masters in Latin American Studies. After grad school, I worked as a political organizer, and then as a Television News and Sports Producer before I became a teacher in New York City in 1996. I like working at Satellite, because I get to see and learn from students who are making decisions to change their lives, and these students then make it happen for themselves.
