Should I use synthetic oil? - Mobil 1 MX4T 10W40 oil has has less of an additive called ZDDP that is a friction reducer. Some report using regular Mobil 1 automotive synthetic oil 15W50 which reportedly also has reduced amount of ZDDP with no problems.
