in neighborhoods all over New York City. Most of us live in Harlem and

DAMISHA POUGH...I was born in and I live in the Heights (Washington Heights) where I reside with my Aunt. A lot of life's problems have made me stronger...made me who I am today. I will be going to college. I'm thinking about taking Digital Media. I plan on being known in the communications world. CHRISTINA MEJIA...I was born in Manhattan and now live in the Bronx. I will someday own my own business, probably a restaurant or a club. I enjoy cooking, love to draw and I love music.I plan to go to college in the fall. ([email protected]). LESLEY L. SMITH...I am a Black 17 year old young woman who loves to speak her mind and has strong opinions. I was born in and still live in the Bronx...Soundview where I live life to the fullest. After HS, I plan to go to college and take up International Law/Accounting. ([email protected]). ALONSO ALVARADO...I was born in NYC. I have always lived in Washington Heights. When I graduate from high school I will go to Mohawk CC near Utica so I can get an Associate Degree in Accounting.([email protected]). IRIS TORRES...I was born in Brooklyn but my family moved around a lot. Now I live in Queens. When I finish here at West Side HS I want to go to college and major in Social Work.([email protected]). KARINA CASTELLANOS...I'm 18 years old and I'm currently attending West Side H.S. I'm also part of an internship with Teen Talk Radio. My plans are to own my own business. I plan to attend college at Wood-Tobe Coburn and major in Business Administration.([email protected]). KIERY GOMEZ... I was born in the Bronx but I'm from Uptown...Washington Heights. I plan to go to Binghamton (SUNY) when I graduate from West Side. My pastimes are just cruising in my car...going to the mall or to chill with my little nephew. TOMMY RIVERA...I have always been a New Yorker born and raised. I live in the Heights with my parents. I will be going to college in some area involving computers. I am also into dancing. HEIDI JIRAU...I from the Bronx...born and raised there. My pastimes are writing music (songs), singing, shopping, cooking and just talking on the phone. I attended LaGuardia Performing Arts HS as a vocal major before coming to West Side. I haven't decided on college yet, I want to do a lot of different things.([email protected]). RYAN NAPA...Hi, I was born and live with my parents in the 'Heights'. I am 16 and I'm currently in the 10th grade. I want to go to college when I graduate and I plan to be an electrician.([email protected]). MICHAEL ZARCOS... Hi, My name is Michael Zarcos and I'm a West Side High School student. I've been attending West Side for quite some time now and I still enjoy it very much. I live in Manhattan and I work at Tad's Steak House. I plan on going to college to explore my potential.([email protected]). JARED HINES...Hi, I'm Jared H. and I'm 18 years old. I have always lived in the FLATBUSH section of BROOKLYN. DARLENE VEDRINE...I'm from the Projects. I was born in the BRONX and life was hard. Life got harder when I left my mother's house. I will attend John Jay College or Buffalo State University (SUNY). I will either go for education or law. ALEX LERNER...What's Up! A soon to be 18 year old Virgo born and raised in Manhattan. ASIA JACKSON : That's me and I live in The BRONX. I attended Taft HS before I came to West Side HS. I was born at Bellvue Hospital in March of 1984 and lived in East Harlem before moving to my neighborhood in the Bronx. Here in my neighborhood, the people are both Latino and African-American. I plan to attend college in California and I hope to live in San Francisco.([email protected])

KEVIN VERA : Hi, this is Kevin here reporting from E.A.R West Side High. I just turned 19 yrs old.This had been my 5th year of school and my second year attending West Side. I will be done with school in January and hope to be attending college somewhere in Florida. My interest is learning in being a carpenter be a builder in the future...([email protected])
SIVAUN PRICE : Hi this is Sivaun Price. I attend West Side High School. I am supposed to graduate in June providing that I pass all of my classes. My interests and hobbies are...
