[ProgressiveEd] Waivers Update

Dear folks,
I've heard from one school.  Diana Lam is sending emails to schools this 
afternoon, indicating whether or not the waiver has been granted.  This is, 
however, a creative third possibility.  In the case of this one school, Ms. 
Lam wrote that she didn't have sufficient data to decide whether or not to 
grant a waiver.  So, instead, the school was issued a "one year pass" with 
respect to implementation of the "new comprehensive approach to reading, 
writing, and math".  Please let us know what you've heard.  Bruce
