Dear all,
the Walk will start at 25th street around 10 am. It will move uptown mostly
on Broadway. They expect to walk 50 blocks per hour. I am organizing the
Computer School parents to be at 77th Street around 10:45 am.

This sounds interesting....Bernard White from WBAI is hosting a math summit
in Plainfield, NJ re: the success/failure of current math curriculums to
address the learning needs of African American children. bmj

Dear 1 & all,
Thursday's March from NYC to Albany headed up by Councilman Robert Jackson
is an event most worthy of the support of all NYers. I would think that
PENNY schools would find ideas for expressing their support. One way would
be to greet and cheer the marchers on, or march yourself - maybe during the
NYC segment - this coming Thursday ( the heck with the science test!).
