[ProgressiveEd] Upcoming Meetings

Dear friends,
This is just a quick note to let you know.  The steering committee of PENNY 
is meeting tomorrow evening (Wednesday, February 12) at 6 at Ann Wiener's 
house.  The next meeting of the entire organization will be Wednesday, 
February 26 at 6:30 at the Workshop Center for Open Education at City College
.  We welcome any input or updates that you think will help us form policy.  
Please send email replies.  Also, we invite your help in reaching new people. 
 Please let us know if there are people you have added to our listserv.  
We've been working on profiles of our individual schools.  A survey went out 
last Thursday with a list of suggested questions.  We've also been following 
up with calls to schools we haven't yet heard from.  We'd love to hear from 
you or someone who is knowledgeable about your school if your school hasn't 
yet responded.   Thank you.  Eventually, we plan to put out a glossy book 
that shows students' work and how schools develop curriculum from this work.
