I thiink that this one is really on the mark.  There is no question in my=20
mind that the no child left behind is a plan that is doomed to fail, with=20
built-in failure measures that will eventually close many of what we conside=
r to be=20
"good" schools, deemiing them failing institutions by virture of the scores.=
  I=20
am not sure this was an intention of the originators of the plan, but it=20
certainly shows a lack of forethought, and real planning. and reeks of the k=
ind of=20
conservative idealism that is so prevalent in the nation, that lines are=20
blurred, thereby causing many folks to lose their power of judgement or true=
=20
choice.=20
ah ah ah.  the emperor's new clothes again.
