Legends Lose Thriller in Double Overtime
The Landmark Legends faced down the fans at the 2000 student Humanities High School and gave them a run for the money. In perhaps the most exciting basketball game of the season so far, the Legends led throughout the game through the stifling defense of Kirk Miller and Kyle Gordon, who each had four blocks a piece.
A few bad rolls on the rim and fatigue finally caught up to the Legends as they lost in double overtime. The Legends were led by Antonio Matos who scored 40 points from every where on the floor. Gerald F. also contributed 12 points. Cheer the guys on, they deserve it.
