The Legends split the weekend at the Benjamin Banneker Tournament.
The weekend started off on a sour note as the Legends dropped their meeting with Thomas Jefferson High School. In losing the tough game Saturday, the guys learned they can score on bigger teams but still need to work on their defensive rotations.
On Sunday, the Legends sought retribution for the weekend and took out their frustrations on University Neighborhood High School. Twelve players were on the scoring column and Jihad Ford led the way with 14 points and 12 rebounds. He also won the Gatorade Hustle Player of the Game award. The final score was a 80 - 50.
Next game is against Humanities High School on Monday, November 24.
