Down the street from Carnegie Hall, musicians from Landmark and Coalition High School combined for a tour de force performance.
A jazz ensemble that has been together for a relatively short time put it all together today. They played to a rarely packed lunch room, luring students from off the street and down from the corner. They played a range of music finished with The Saints Going Marching In and still made it back to class on time. Except for one student seen serenading the vending machine, it all went off without a hitch. We hope to hear from them again soon (more pictures).
