The gym was noisy and the referees were calling a tight game but the Legends shrugged their shoulders and pulled out a 64 to 51 victory over Marta Valle High School. Angel Lantigua led the stiff defense with 6 steals, numerous deflections, and assisted on 8 baskets in winning the Gatorade Hustle Player of the Game. Antonio Matos led in scoring with 22 points and Jihad Ford controlled the paint with 11 rebounds.
The Legends are now 4 - 0 for the season. Their next game is Friday against Manhattan Village Academy at Basketball City.
