Legends Bullish on Economics

Boys basketball team survives fourth quarter run by Economics and wins by the score of 67-59 to improve record to 7-1.
Last night, the Legends came out playing great defense, and built a 19-8 lead in the first quarter. The Legends backcourt was pestering the Economics guards- Antonio and Angel each had four steals in the game. The frontcourt was equally solid with Kirk, Jihad, and Gerald all blocking shots and Kenneth pulling down 9 rebounds.
Economics came alive in the fourth quarter, hitting four three pointers, but it was too little, too late as the Legends held on to win the game.
The Legends scoring attack was balanced with four players in double figures.

The boys play Fashion on Friday and then have a tough rematch against Humanities on Monday. The Legends beat Humanities 80-76 in overtime in their first regular season game.
