14 - 1 Legends Beat Economics in a Close One!

Legends survive a scare and beat Economics 43 - 41.
Economics tried to slow down the game, and they were successful. At the end of the first half, LAndmark led 20 - 16. In the third quarter, they built on their lead, but they did it with defense. Kirk Miller had 12 blocked shots in the game, and the Legends played intimidating team defense.
Landmark built an 11 point lead in the fourth quarter, but Economics made a late run. They cut the lead to 1 with just minutes left. After Antonio hit one of two free throws to extend the lead to two, the Legends had 24 seconds to hold Economics.
The Legends played tight defense and deflected the ball out of bounds three times in that 24 seconds. Eventually, Economics got a shot off and missed. An Economics guard grabbed the loose rebound and tried to get the tying shot off, but was blocked from behind by Antonio Matos.
