Pinstripes Are First to Fall

Written by Dennis Joyce on 05-25-2004

Lose to Light Blue, 12 -5

It was a good season overall for the Pinstripes. They did all they could to try to make the playoffs. They competed with heart and spirit. They never said quit. They battled to the end. As a unit they were a pleasure to work with. They were very good sports. Captains Karla and Teo (and Mario) were genuinely concerned for their players. They were fine leaders and did an excellent job making sure they had enough each day, and they always had a line-up ready to go. Sorry about the loss, but more importantly, you played the game right.

Teo and Karla will be on the all star team along with two males that they will select. The all-stars will play the teachers on Friday June 11th. Also I want to give special thanks to Jesse Inoa, who played three years in this league, giving 180% every game. Playing all out but never forgetting it was just a game.

--Congrats to light Blue, you have clinched first place.
