The Legendettes are off to a Blistering Start

Congrats to the Lady Legendettes Track Team on their first meet!
The Lady Legendettes Track Team had a wonderful start to the season yesterday! Maria Velez, a veteran to the team, finished second in her heat, in the 400m dash, with a time of 1:22.55. She also competed in the 100m dash and finished with a time of 15.69. Ingrid Matthews, another veteran to the team, competed in the 400m dash, with a time of 1:27.30, finishing fourth. Zuleika De La Nuez, with her first races ever, finished fifth in the 400m dash with a time of 1:27.79. She also competed in the 100m dash, finishing with a time of 16.77. Congratulations to each of these three remarkable women. Their hard work has paid off!!!! Way to go, and keep wishing these ladies luck in their upcoming meets.
