�� The following chart describes what each assignment for the class is worth on your report card. You should print this page, and attach it somewhere handy in your notebook for future reference

�All Exams and Quizzes will be announced in advanced.
All Homework assignments are due the day after they are given. If you fail to submit an assignment on time, the highest grade that you can earn is a check minus. Each homework will be graded in the following manner. (If you were absent, and you missed the homework, it is your responsibility to find the assignment, and make it up. Failure to do so will result in no credit for the assignment)

Grade Given	Criteria for grading
Check-Plus (90%)	All work in assignment completed on an excellent level and submitted on time Student displays high level of critical thinking. Work is neat, and orderly.�
Check (75%)	All work for assignment completed on a satisfactory level.�� Student shows some thought. Work is fairly neat, and orderly
Check-Minus (60%)	At least 75% of work is complete and/or work is done on a non satisfactory level and/or student displays little or no thought, and/or work is not neat or orderly and/or work is handed in late
Zero (0%)	Anything less than 75% of work is complete and/or work is done on an unacceptable level and/or student displays no thought, and/or work is not neat or orderly and/or homework was submitted late, and would have received a� Check-Minus� if submitted on time.

Overall Class Conduct will be graded in the following manner:

�You will begin each marking period with the full 20 class conduct� points on your report card. Each time the you fail to meet any of the criteria that are spelled out in the student contract, you will be given a zero for the day, and 1 point will be removed from you report card.
