Congratulations on getting your waivers in on time, if you did.  Here's the 
next step.  Hopefully, you've got a breather, so you'll be able to follow up. 
 We need to know which schools have sent in waivers and want to be included 
on PENNY's list of schools.  If you can email us this afternoon, that would 
make our lives easier.  If not, we're going to get on the phone.
Your job now is to make sure parents from your school (and other folks from 
your school for whom it's safe to do this) flood the waiver folks with 
emails.  This means contacting waivers@nycboe.net, Diana Lam, your regional 
superintendent, and your current district superintendent.  Below is a list of 
emails for the regional folks.  You have email addresses for your district 
people.  The message they're delivering is why it's critical for your school 
to receive its waiver.  Have people stress your history of academic success 
working with children with various learning needs.  Talk about the programs 
and instructional materials you currently use.  Be specific.  GIve them heck!
