Green
Chimneys is a group residential program for males 16 to 21 years
old. They are the only agency of this type in the Eastern United
States serving the gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning
                youth community.
              Green
Chimneys offers 365 days of care per year in a 24 hour structured
and supervised home like environment. While living at Green Chimneys,
young adults attend the Audre Lorde School,
named after an African American Lesbian Activist, where the focus
is on raising academic levels in math and reading as well as preparation
                for the GED exam.

In addition to the academic program, the agency also offers a
variety of post-foster care programs (i.e. Life skills for living
in the real world, Anger Management, Employment Exploration).
