Southern
NY Residential Center |
Southern
New York Bronx Residential Center is located in the northern Bronx
and is adjacent to the Montfiore Hospital. It is a state facility
run by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). The facility accommodates up to 25 students, whose ages range from 13 – 18. Southern Residential is a juvenile detention center. The students stay between 45-90 days and are involved in a variety of programs. The academics cover the GED and Regents curriculum. |
